Enter online at British Eventing or complete an entry form and send it to the Entries Secretary with a cheque made payable to Thornton Watlass Horse Trials - please also enclose a seperate 22cm x 11cm (DL) SAE for each horse entered. Stabling: Local stabling is available - please download the stabling list for more information. Prizes: The scale of prize money is to be confirmed subject to sponsorship. Prize money and trophies will be awarded to all section winners and rosettes will be given to 8th place. The John Nicholson Perpetual Memorial Trophy will also be awarded to the winner of the Open BE 100 class. Notice of prize givings will be displayed in the secretary's tent, please attend if you win a prize. Accommodation and Catering: Hot and cold food will be available throughout the duration of the event. Bed and Breakfast or camping is available locally, please visit www.visit-bedale.com for details. Then book a room at The Buck Inn in Thornton Watlass Village - be quick though, vacancies are quickly becoming limited!! Special Notices: In case of abandonment please call the horse trials office. All terrain vehicles and motorcycles will not be permitted except those used by authorised officials. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Parking will be limited, please follow stewards directions and park courteously for other competitors. Thornton Watlass Horse Trials are held under British Eventing rules for official horse trials. The making of an entry constitutes acceptance of those rules. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable percautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable percautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. Schooling: The course will be open for schooling throughout the week after the event.
